In this self-paced course, participants examine changes to the science TEKS in the middle grades and explore models of vertical alignment to build knowledge of science concepts and processes. Through model science lessons, participants consider how the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), Response to Intervention (RtI), and College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) frameworks support student success on statewide assessments and promote post-secondary readiness.
